Location: Abuja, Nigeria
Duration: One year (renewable) Extended Term Consultant (ETC)
- The successful candidate should be holder of a Masters degree with major in a relevant discipline (e.g. Engineering, Law, Procurement, Finance, Business or Commerce);
- A minimum of 5 years direct relevant experience in procurement, including broad expertise in the management of public procurement in the public or private sector.
- At least 3 years of relevant work experience in procurement under World Bank or other International Financial Institution (IFI) funded projects.
- Good knowledge of all concepts, principles and approaches in procurement.
- And significant experience in preparation of procurement plans, bidding and contract documents for procurement of goods, works and consultants services.
- Strong communication skills and persuasiveness in presenting, negotiating and resolving complex issues, both orally and in writing English.
- Strong interpersonal skills and orientation as a team member.
