Job Description:
- Respond to assigned tickets via helpdesk ticketing system
- Installation and support of computer hardware (desktops/laptops, peripherals) and MS Office Suite and other Business applications
- Installation of Windows 2003/2008 servers Operating System as well as specialized services such as Printing, Exchange (email), SMS and authentication services
- Installation and administration of LAN and WAN devices like switches and routers
- Serve as technical resource to relevant project teams
Required Qualifications:
B.Sc. in Computer Science, Engineering or Numerate Science with a minimum of Second Class Upper Division plus relevant Microsoft, Cisco and ITIL certifications.
Required Skills: - Knowledge of Windows 2003/2008/XP and Unix/Linux platforms.
- Knowledge of HP/Compaq servers.
- Understanding of networking devices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft SQL and Oracle Database environments.
- Working Knowledge of Microsoft office suites.
- Good analytical and project management skills.
- Should be a self-starter and strong in oral and written communication.
Experience:
Maximum of two (2) years post NYSC relevant experience.

Job Description:
- Provide day-to-day support for existing petro-technical and engineering applications
- Troubleshoot and resolve engineering and subsurface application issues to minimize downtime and ensure applications are in working condition.

This invitation is open to qualified Nigerians within and outside the University.
Chair holders’ Research Area will be expected to focus on “Development of Bioenergy and Biofuels Technology”.
Applicants therefore must be distinguished University scholars preferably Professors of Engineering with demonstrable academic and research leadership as well as adequate research experience.
He or she must be able to carry out multidisciplinary research.
The Chair holder shall in addition to research, teach relevant courses in Petroleum Chemistry at both undergraduate and graduate levels as well as carry out other academic duties as may be assigned by the University.
Condition of Service:
• The appointment shall be for a three year period in the first instance, renewable for another two years based on performance.
• The condition of service is as obtainable in the Nigerian University System with provision for funding of research, attendance at conferences and travels.
