YWCA Compassionate AIDS Response and Education, funded by the President’s Emergency plan for AIDS relief through US, Agency for International Development.
The Young Women’s Christian Association (YWCA) of Nigeria received funding from The Presidential Emergency Plan For AIDS Relief (PEPFAR) through the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) to implement the YWCA Compassionate Aids Response and Education (Y-CARE) program which is to carry out HIV/AIDS Prevention program in Lagos, Anambra, Rivers, & Plateau states. YWCA Y-Care is looking for experienced and skilled candidates to fill the vacancy below.
PROJECT DIRECTORQualification:Not less than 8 years working experience in the field of HIV/AIDS programming with Masters in Public Health or its equivalent.
Exceptional managerial and operational experience preferably in managing complex activities of similar magnitude and complexity involving coordination with multiple partners.
Extensive experience with financial and programmatic management of a donor-funded project.
Experience providing capacity building services to Ministries, government agencies and NGOs, including experience with institutional strengthening of administrative and financial systems.
Knowledge of the National HIV Prevention guidelines.
Management and leadership initiatives, monitoring and reporting and oversight of grant programs.
Excellent communication, supervisory and interpersonal skills, demonstrated leadership, and the ability to work collaboratively across technical discipline.
ASSOCIATE PROJECT DIRECTORQualification:5 years or more working experience in the field of HIV/AIDS programming with Masters Degree in public Health or its equivalent.
