MSH-implemented project in Nigeria requires for employment experienced and competent candidates to fill the following positions.
CLINICAL SERVICES SPECIALIST (2 POSITION)
Location: Kwara & Taraba
Qualifications and/or Experience:
The suitable candidate will have a post-graduate degree in public health, medicine, or other related field with at least 3 years experience working on a PEPFAR supported ART program. Experience building capacity of health workers to provide HIV/AIDS and TB care and treatment is a must. The candidate will have demonstrable expertise in managing clients along the continuum of care, PMTCT and linkage with community-based programs. Program design and management experience is desirable. Practical experience working on pediatric care and treatment programs will be an advantage.
LABORATORY SPECIALIST
Location: State Offices
Qualifications
1. A laboratory scientist must be registered with Medical Laboratory Science Council of Nigeria (MLSCN)
2. Minimum of B.Sc/HND Medical Laboratory Science
3. Preferably with a Postgraduate degree in public health/health science
4. Significant experience in laboratory diagnosis of AIDS, tuberculosis and other opportunistic infections and laboratory monitoring of clinical status of people living with HIV essential
5. Familiarity with ministry of health national VCT guidelines and diagnosis algorithms essential
POSITION: HUMAN RESOURCES ASSISTANT
Location: Abuja
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree in project Management. Communication, Public Relations or a related field
2. Proven programmatic, technical and interpersonal skills
3. Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communications, teamwork and collaborating abilities
4. Experience using standard editing/proofreading marks and graphic layout designing.
5. Demonstrated excellent computer skills in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Ability to work independently with initiative to manage high volume and sensitive work flow, knowledge of USAID employment regulations
6. Fluency in oral and written English required
7. Willingness to travel within Nigeria regularity as required
8. Able to manage multiple tasks efficiently and must work well under deadlines
9. 3-5 years working experience in this field.
OFFICE ASSISTANT (Abuja)
Qualifications:
1. Administration Diploma or relevant office experience
2. Fluency in spoken and written English required.
3. Strong administrative, organizational, and written and verbal communication skills.
4. Organized and able to work well under pressure
5. Ability to carry out independent work, to take initiative, and to use good judgment.
6. Strong PC skill to include knowledge of Microsoft word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, internet research and database use.
7. Familiarity with Microsoft Outlook desirable.
8. 2+ years of relevant administrative experience in supporting work groups
9. Ability to interact with professionals at all levels located in different parts of the world
10. Knowledge of USAID and other similar organizations a plus.
Note: There are no relocation allowances available for these positions.
