DEPUTY CHIEF OF PARTY (DCoP) - AIDS Relief Nigeria-PM11
Location: Abuja, Nigeria

Primary Function:
The DCoP is responsible for ensuring that the grant's resources are used at Local Partner Treatment Facilities in ways that allow them to achieve grant objectives within grant terms and building collaborative relationships among Consortium Members.
The DCoP is principally focused on the use of clinical support and works closely with IHV

Qualifications:
• Medical degree is required.
• Minimum of five years clinical experience working with HIV/AIDS.
• Minimum of three years supervisory experience.
• Experience in multi-agency coordination of programs is preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to work with government systems.
• Experience with USG grants is preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to work with faith-based organizations.
• Willingness and ability to travel regularly.
• Excellent English language oral and written communication skills.

The Job:
Interested professionals will be working on the design and detailed engineering for horizontal and vertical constructions of office buildings, warehouses, multi storey apartments, schools, hospitals, roads, bridges etc and supporting infrastructure works.
For the senior engineering and design roles, the qualified candidate will be responsible for addressing technical issues in order to meet clients’ specifications and performance, while ensuring that your contribution to projects meets agreed quality, programme and budget requirements.

General Requirements:
• Applicants should be degree qualified with membership of a relevant professional institution.
• Engineers should be COREN/ ARCON/ ICANN registered as appropriate.
• A minimum of 10years experience in a similar position with good multi-disciplinary experience.
• Demonstrated experience of working in a Civil/ Architectural and/ or Building Services design office, for a reputable engineering /design consultancy. Strong IT skills, including analysis of software e.g. STAAD, ACAD, Primavera P3, MS Suite/Excel etc.

• Lodge cheques for replenishment of deposit with the airlines and periodically obtain statement of accounts for reconciliation;
• Collect and reconfirm tickets for short term visitors in Lagos;
• Assist in the Airport arrival/departure formalities during special events conferences, training workshops and meetings;
• Follow up on specific travel problems as requested;
• Deputize for the Travel Assistant in his absence.
Qualification and Experience:

• Update and advise weekly exchange rates; Journalize all emergency cash transactions;
• Write cash book adjustments to book direct transactions to all bank accounts e.g. bank charges, interest charged, commission etc;
