Role:

• To lead the development of new web application functionalist in response to client requests and business objectives.
• Also to take ownership of the ongoing development and maintenance of the web applications including fixing bugs and ensuring timely delivery of software modules.

Skills required: To be considered for this position you must have -commercial experience in Java web application development

• 3-5 years -experience of full software development lifecycle
• Good levels of communication, written and verbal
• Enthusiasm, can-do attitude and an interest in all things Web

Languages/Scripts: Java, JavaScript, XML, Ajax, SQL, Html, CSS.

Frameworks/Technologies/API: J2EE (EJB, Servlets, JSP etc), Hibernate, Java Beans, Servlets, JSP, EJB, Apache Struts, MVC frameworks, Javadoc.

IDE/Software: Eclipse, Netbeans, and any of Adobe Projector, Flash, Fireworks, Freehand, Photoshop, Premier, Paintshop, Corel Draw

Web/Application Servers/OS: Apache, IIS, Apache Tomcat, Apache Ant, JBoss, Unix/Linux, Windows OS.

Databases: Oracle 10g onwards, MS SQL Server, MySQL, PostgresSQL.

Concepts/Deployment/Testing: Object oriented programming, Object Oriented Design – UML, Design Patterns, JUnit, Module and System level Testing and any agile methodology – RUP, XP, SCRUM.

Creative Web Designer.

Role:

• As a Creative Web Designer, you will be responsible for the design and usability of the Chams.net website.
• You will be expected to understand briefs and come up with creative designs and ideas that will take enhance the look and feel of the website and help us to maximize our online potential.
• With a proven flair for design, you must also be someone who enjoys a challenge and will thrive in a fresh thinking environment.

Skills required: To be considered for this position you must have – extensive web design experience

• Good Flash and HTML skills
• Solid experience of developing commercial sites extensive CSS experience
• Impressive portfolio of creative designs and websites
• A good understanding of usability knowledge of Search Engine Optimisation techniques is desirable Languages/Scripts: Html, CSS, JavaScript, xhtml

Design tools: Flash, DreamWeaver, Photoshop, Illustrator, Cold Fusion, Acrobat
