Position: Sales Manager
The assigned sales manager [based in Lagos] is responsible for the effective and profitable conduct of overall sales and service function in the greater market.

Ideal Background experience:
The successful candidate has a proven track record in selling to telecommunications operators in Nigeria and has previously managed executive level relationships.
Education:
  • University degree: bachelor degree Electrical Electronics Engineering [a big plus]
  • Trainings, workshops, seminars, congresses, etc in sales
  • MBA
  • Speciality in microwave telecommunications solutions a plus
Experience:
  • 5 years of technical/ practical expertise in all aspects of microwave wireless telecommunications
  • 5 years sales experience with proven track record of selling complex solutions
Desired:
  • A highly entrepreneur spirit with a make it happen in a positive attitude and approach
  • Ability to work closely with executive and employees at all levels and all parts of their organisations
  • Able to mobilise and motivate internal/external resources to achieve desired result
Responsibilities:
  • Help Harris Stratex to penetrate the local market therefore develop and implement the strategy and tactics to grow existing account and meet targets planned
  • Actively participate in the promotion of Harris Stratex products and services, contacting prospective customers, screening inquiries, interfacing with customer, preparing  quotes and proposals, and following up ongoing projects
  • Forecasts plan, budget and measure revenues by product and control expenses
  • Ensure projects & operational staff meets customer satisfaction requirement
