Job Vacancies in a Conglomerate Company

Our client is a well established conglomerate with substantial investments in Down stream Oil and Gas, IT solutions, Real Estate and Financial services. The imperatives of expansion have necessitated the need to recruit qualified personnel into the following positions:


GENERAL MANAGER SOFTWARE: Ref ES: 03/01

Must be able to provide leadership and direction to a team.

Must have good understanding of the dynamics of the software market, and possess a well honed and tested marketing skill.

Must have ability to position software solutions and grows sales.

Suitably qualified candidates must possess HND/ B.Sc. degree in any of the Social sciences preferably accounting and an MBA, with a minimum of 10 years port-graduate experience in sales and marketing of IT solutions.


DEPUTY GENERAL MANAGER Ref ES: 03/02


Must be a software expert with excellent accounting background and possess the knack for developing solutions and getting results.

Must have good presentation skills and possess good knowledge of Accounting software platforms including concepts, development, deployment and standards.

Must be knowledgeable about accounting models, and possess hands-on experience on software productivity tools.

Suitably qualified candidates must possess a degree in computer science with sufficient accounting background and necessary certifications in software development. A post graduate degree with a minimum of 7 years cognate experience in handling accounting software is required for this position


MARKETING EXECUTIVES - SOFTWARE Ref ES: 03/03

Aggressive and hungry for success marketers who have excellent sales track record and are self motivated.

Must be go-getters, target minded and results oriented with track record of sales achievements Must be able to execute growth strategies in line with policy direction from executive management

Must be fast learners with appreciable likeness for accounting and software solutions

Suitably qualified candidates must possess B.Sc/HND/MBA with a minimum of 3 years post graduate experience in marketing IT solutions.


SOFTWARE CONSULTANTS Ref ES: 03/04

Must have thorough understanding of IT infrastructure, software engineering processes and the software engineering life cycle and Accounting Software application.

Must have thorough knowledge of relational database management software (e.g. SOL Server) and SOL; knowledge of Windows XP}Unix client/server environments.

Must have thorough knowledge of Visual Basic .NET, C# or Java and knowledge of one or more of ASP, C/C++, Perl and HTML.

Good knowledge of a project scheduling tool, e.g. MS Project.

Strong customer/user orientation and ability to communicate easily and well with both technical and non-technical staff at all levels in a multicultural environment, with respect and sensitivity for diversity.

Ability to work effectively in different project teams.

Minimum B.Sc/HND Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, Statistics or related disciplines and not less than 3 years in IT project or service management of large corporate, government and /or international NGO environment.


HUMAN RESOURCES & ADMINISTRATIVE EXECUTIVE Ref ES:03/05

The Officer shall be responsible for Human Resource and the Administration issues. He/she shall supervise, monitor and motivate staff within the Group. .

Must have the ability to Evaluate/lmplement Corporate HR policies and procedures. He/she shall work with other staff to strategize on a process of documentation and records management in the organization.

A broad experience in the development, monitoring and improvement of HR policies, practices and programs

Provision of advisory service and support in areas such as: workforce planning, performance management, compensation, recruitment, employment equity, workplace diversity. and industrial relations

Degree qualified candidates in the humanities or Social Sciences will be so appointed. Membership of a recognized professional Body, e.g. NIM, IMC, IPM e.t.c. and a minimum of 2 years experience in HR and administrative functions


GENERAL MANAGER - DOWNSTREAM OIL & GAS Ref ES: 03/06

Responsible for day to day running of the company

Cooperates with executive management to direct and guide all the affairs of the company Works with executive management to formulate organizational policies.

Ensures compliances with regulatory issues guidelines and Assist MD to execute organizational and corporate development policies

Works with executive management and Divisional Heads to ensure adherence to agreed strategies and policies

Generally maintain the smooth running of all organizational procedure and processes

Suitably qualified candidates will have a good degree from a recognized university or its equivalent and/or relevant professional qualification and at least 10 yrs post qualification experience in the oil and gas industry or other industry experience considered


MARKETING EXECUTIVES - DOWNSTREAM OIL & GAS Ref ES: 03/07
