Job Vacancies at United Nations Population Fund

The United Nations Population Fund [UNFPA] the leading UN organisation in Reproductive Health and Population and Development, is recruiting for the following position in the Zonal Offices at the State Level

Programme Analyst [Gender] - 4 Posts
Post Level: NOB Contract
Duty Post: Zonal Office Headquarters [Lagos, Umuahia, Maiduguri and FCT]
Duration: One year [renewable but subject to satisfactory performance

Qualification
The ideal candidates must:
  • Be a Nigerian national [Male or Female]
  • Have a master’s degree in population, Sociology, Development Studies
  • and specialized in gender studies or possess professional experience
  • of a minimum of 10 years preferably in programme/Project management in
  • the public or private sector linked to gender issues
  • Be experience in working with government institutions and donor organisations
  • Be familiar with issues of population, reproductive health, gender and youth
  • Have a strong capability to communicate clearly and concisely in
  • both oral and written English
  • Have ability to work under pressure
  • Have excellent communication and human relationship skills
  • Have proficiency in current office software applications is mandatory
