An Abuja based non-governmental organization is desirous of engaging a PROGRAMME OFFICER for one of its projects aimed at the realization of women’s rights enjoyment and protection in Nigeria
Minimum Academic Qualification and Experience
• A Bachelor’s degree in the field of humanities or law from a recognized University.
• A Masters degree will be an added advantage.
• A minimum of five (5) years relevant post qualification experience, of which at least three (3) are in similar position to the one applied for.
The successful candidate is expected inter alia to posses:
• Relevant Academic Qualifications
• A good working knowledge & understanding of gender issues and related domestic and international instruments.
• Participatory Programme M & E knowledge and skills.
• Capacity for independent work and skills in identifying and overcoming barriers to effective programme implementation and monitoring.
• The ability to generate and collate qualitative & quantitative M&E data, including data analysis skills
• Good report writing skills
• Good people skills and ability to work in a team and a diverse cultural environment.
• Brilliant communication skills.
Remuneration

Project cycle is 2008 to 2012
