Skill &. Competency Requirements
a) Professional
• Bachelor's degree or the equivalent in a relevant degree
• Membership of a professional organization such as the Chartered Institute of Purchasing & Supply would be an advantage•
• Minimum of five years operational, tactical and strategic sourcing experience in the telecom industry
• Good contractual knowledge: business and legal aspects
• Familiarity with full turnkey materials for BTS and transmission sites essential for Position 1- Sourcing Buyer (Direct Materials &. Services)
• Familiarity with multimedia -product essential for Position 2 - Multimedia Buyer
b) Knowledge & General Skills
• Management and Project Leader skills
• Business and financial acumen
• Excellent communication skills in English - written and verbal
• Strong technical skills
• Proficiency in Word Processing, PowerPoint, spreadsheets and the internet
• Ability to implement with the newest Microsoft applications such as Microsoft Works and Microsoft Project
• Good knowledge of region specific requirements and prerequisites
c) Personal traits
• Appreciation of and ability to adhere to Ericsson's core values of Professionalism, Respect & Perseverance
• Ability to be tactful and diplomatic
• Ability to manage relationships at all levels within the organization
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
