Job Vacancies at Life Insurance Company

A fast growing and recently re-engineered Life Insurance Company affiliated to a bank with Head Quarters in Lagos and branches nationwide has vacancies for the following positions:

1. HEAD TECHNICAL Ref: Ht001
• The Person University degree or HND in insurance/actuarial science or any of the social or management science, a Master's degree will be an advantage
• Must have a professional qualification such as ACII, FCII etc.
• A minimum of 15 years cognate experience, 7years of which must be at management level in an insurance company or insurance brokerage outfit.
• Good business negotiation skills and ability to relate with decision makers in corporate organization and government

2. HEAD HR/ADMIN Ref: HR002
The Person:
• First degree in Social Sciences or related field, a Master’s degree will be an advantage.
• 6 years experience in managll1g human resources in a large orgamsal1on good interpersonal, planning and communication skills.
• Excellent skills of leading and developing people deep and up-to-date knowledge in HR practices and Labour laws

3. ASSISTANT BRANCH MANAGERS (Ibadan & Abuja) Ref: ABM003
The Person:
• University degree or HND in Social Science or related field, an MBA will be an advantage. .
• A minimum of 7 years cognate, 3 years of which must be at management level in an Insurance Company or Insurance Broker.
• Good business negotiation skills and ability to relate well with decision makers in corporate organization and government.
• Good leadership and people management skills
• Excellent communication and presentation skills

4. HEAD INTERNAL CONTROL Ref: HIC005
The Person:
• University degree or HND in Accounting or related field, a Master's degree will be an advantage
• Must have a professional qualification such as ACA, ACCA etc 7 years of professional experience within the Insurance Industry
• Possess excellent numerical and analytical skills

5. LEGAL OFFICERS Ref: L0006
The Person:
• First degrees in LLB (Hons) not lower than 2nd class lower Division and BL with ample experience in Life Insurance Company.
• Minimum of 7 years experience.
• Familiarity with IT based systems.
• Current driving license and occasional use of own vehicle.
• Deep and Up-to-date knowledge in insurance practice and procedures.

6. MARKETING OFFICERS Ref: M0005
The Person:
• University degree or HND, In Marketing, Business Administration or related field in
• A minimum of 5 years experience in similar positions.
• Good understanding of the Group Life Business environment and have a good business relationship With Brokers)
• Ages between 25-30 years old.
• Good personality, self-motivated, and service-minded.
• Team player, good negotiation and communication skills.
• Experience in marketing life insurance is a plus

7. BROKERS MARKETING Ref: BM 006
The Person:
• University degree or HND in Marketing, Business Administration or related field in Social Sciences
• A minimum of 5years experience in similar positions.
• Good understanding of the Group Life Business environment and have a good business relationship With Brokers) 35years old.
• Good personality, self-motivated, and service-minded.
• Team player, good negotiation and communication skills.
• Experience in marketing of life insurance is a plus

Remuneration:
Package is above industry standard.
