1. SENIOR RESETTLEMENT CLERK(002/NIGAB/2009)
Required Qualifications
• Secondary Education
• Certificate of Training or Knowledge in Public or International
• Full working ability in English, the Knowledge of French is an asset
• Knowledge of computer (Word, Excel, Internet etc.)
Desirable Skills
• Knowledge of resettlement issues
• Data handling skills
• Communication skills
Position Minimum Requirements
• Previous Job Experience relevant to the function: 5 years
• A minimum of 1 year experience with and International Organization IS an asset
• Ability to work in a multi-cultural environment
• Managerial Competencies; Political and Organization Awareness
• Functional Competencies; Facilitating the resettlement process; Liaising with external contacts; Data handling; Drafting reports/correspondence; Supporting functional activities; Providing technical support.

2. ASSOCIATE PROTECTION OFFICER (OO1/NIGAB/2009)
Required Qualifications
• University Degree in one of the following areas: Law, Humanitarian Law, International law, International Relations, Political Science or related field (For internal applicants at G.6 level and above, this requirement may exceptionally be replaced by minimum of six years experience directly relevant to duties of post);
• Full working ability in English, the knowledge of French is an asset;
• Excellent communication skills;
• Knowledge of computer (Word, Excel, Internet, etc.).
Desirable Skills
• UN and/or UNHCR Learning Programmes; Other relevant training; additional UN languages; Field or
International experience.
Position Minimum Requirements
• Previous Job Experience relevant to the function: 4years
• A minimum of 1 year experience with and International Organization is an asset;
• Ability to work as part of a team but also independently, in a multi-cultural environment;
• Managerial Competencies: Managing Performance, Coaching and Developing Staff, Political and Organization Awareness.
• Functional Competencies: Protecting Refugees and other persons of concern to UNHCR, Establishing Eligibility for Refugee Status, Promoting Refugee Law/Protection Principals, Protecting Refugees and Other Persons of Concern at field Level, Providing Protection information.

3. HEAD OF OFFICE (002/NIGAB/2009)
Required Qualifications
• University Degree in Degree in Management, Administration or related field (For Internal applicants at G.6 level and above, this requirement may exceptionally be replaced by minimum of six years experience directly relevant to duties of post) ;
• Full working ability in English, the knowledge of French is an asset:
• Excellent communication skills:
• Knowledge of computer (Word, Excel, Internet, etc.).
Desirable Skills
• UN and/or UNHCR Learning Programmes (MSRP, FOCUS, ProGres); Other relevant training: additional UN languages; Field or International experience.
Position Minimum Requirements
• Previous Job Experience relevant to the function: 4 years
• A minimum of 1 year experience with and International Organization is an asset;
• Ability to work as part of a team but also independently, in a multi-cultural environment;
• Managerial Competencies: Strategic Planning; Leadership; Managing Performance; Coaching and Developing Staff; Political and Organization Awareness.
• Functional Competencies; Overseeing functional activities; Assessing beneficiaries needs and availability of resources; Protecting refugees in the field; Implementing field operations; Facilitating program delivery by implementing partners; Providing technical support.
