An Oil and Gas Engineering Company requires the services of the under-listed for immediate employment.


MECHANIC FITTER-GENERAL (mfg)
Qualification:
Minimum of OND or its equivalent from a recognized Technical School or Institution in Mechanical Engineering

Experience
Minimum of 5 years working experience in the position of Mechanical Fitter on Plant maintenance in any of the following filed Power Plant,
Pipeline Installation, Vessels, Traps, Valves, Chemical Plants, Oil Tanks. Offshore Oil and Gas Installation or Petroleum Refinery, Merchant Ships and large Machine shops


PIPE FITTER MECHANIC (pfm)
Qualification
Relevant trade certificate in Millwright Pipefitting and general mechanic from recognized technical school or Institution

Experience
Minimum of 5 years working experience as a millwright/Pipe fitter of which 3 years must be in offshore Oil and Gas platform or facilities


SCAFFOLDERS (Scf)
Qualification
Shall possess relevant trade Certificate/Diploma in Rigging from a Vocational school or Polytechnic
Shall be fully familiar with British Standards and Code for Scaffolding Tubing, Coupling. Filling, Boards and Decking

Experience
• Minimum of 5 years working experience as a Scaffolder of which 3 years must be in offshore Oil and Gas platforms or Facilities.
• Shall have experience in offshore and onshore construction operation.
• Shall have working knowledge of cranes, air tuggers, slings, winches, hoists, come-along and all miscellaneous gear including safety gears.


WELDERS (wd)
Qualification
Shall possess relevant trade Certificate/Diploma in Welding from a Vocational school or Polytechnic.

Experience
• Minimum of 5 years working experience as a Welder of which 3 years must be in offshore Oil and Gas platforms or Facilities.
• Shall have experience in offshore and onshore construction operation.
• Shall have working knowledge of cranes, air tuggers, slings, winches, hoists, come-along and all miscellaneous gears including safety gears.
• Shall have working knowledge of fitter metals, base metals, joint preparation, and welding technique, preheat and post heat, electrical characteristics, back gouging and essential variables applicable to welding codes


LINE HANDLING BOAT OPERATOR ASSISTANT (boa)
Qualification
• Shall possess a valid Nigerian recognized EDH or AB certificate

Experience
• Minimum of 5 years working experience as a EDH or AS on board vessel of which 2 years must be with Calm Buoy offloading operation in offshore Oil and Gas platforms or Facilities.
• Shall be experienced in the use of marine VHF and UHF radio communication
• Shall be experienced and familiar with transfer of field personnel from small vessel to calm Buoy, offloading Tankers and other vessel
Line Handing Boat


RIGGER (RG)
Qualification
Minimum of WAEC or OND preferred or its equivalent from a recognized Technical School or Institution

Experience
• Minimum of 5 years working experience of which 2years must be in offshore Installation or shipping vessel
• Full knowledge of crane hand signals and the use and identification of all types of wire slings, shackles, pendants, spreader bars, barrel and chains slings and thimbles
• Shall have experience in offshore and onshore construction operation.
• Shall have working knowledge of cranes, air tuggers, slings, winches, hoists, come-along and all miscellaneous gear including safety gears.


General Requirements for all Positions
• Shall be fluent in written and spoken English
• Shall be able to read correctly measuring instruments
• Shall be familiar with Work Permit System before starting any work whatsoever
• Shall be responsible for proper use and care of tools and equipment charged to him
• Shall be able to work independently without supervision
