An indigenous conglomerate with interest in Sugar Refining, Flour Milling, Cement and Oil & Gas, requires the services of innovative, talented and well mannered professionals for immediate employment in its sugar refinery.
Candidates must have the required skills and experience relevant to the roles in order to apply or be considered.
The vacancies that exist are as follows;
Instrumentation Technician
The ideal candidate should possess the following;
1. A minimum of an OND or C&G grade 2/TTC qualification or the equivalent technical qualifications in instrumentation or electrical electronics engineering.
2. 2 – 4 years working experience within a technically sophisticated process industry.
3. Good understanding of basic instruments’ calibration procedures.
4. Ability to interprete and use P & ID, interconnection diagrams, instrumentation symbols and notations.
5. Good knowledge of PLC- based control panels and systems
6. Ability to understand basic engineering drawings and implement work order details.
7. Good knowledge of industrial safety practices
8. Ability to carry out instrumentation systems’ installation works within recommended industry standards.
Instrumentation Systems Engineer
The ideal candidate should possess the following;
1. A minimum of a B.Sc or HND qualification in instrumentation or electrical and electronic engineering.
2. Minimum of 4 years working experience on the same position in a technically sophisticated process industry.
3. Extensive capabilities in PLC and Scada systems.
4. Extensive hands on exposure in ICT systems
5. Extensive capabilities in PLC and Scada systems, based on high speed internet, modbus and profibus DP protocols
6. Ability to manage PLC based control system and carry out maintenance activities in a world class FMCG.
