Job Description:
o Collect daily information from sales team including Outlet activation values
o Produce daily sales report and use data from report to create sales forecasts
o Timely reporting of sales performance with focus on accuracy and completeness of data
o Monitor all sales activation plans/projects to achieve set objectives within approved budget
o Calculate and measure Sales incentive targets
o Monitoring sales operations by area
o Analyze sales performance in light of sales goals, identify areas of weakness that the organization can address to improve sales.
o Make recommendations for changes in sales techniques or promotional efforts to improve sales performance.
o Analyze, evaluate and report sales data in order to increase sales productivity
o Report trends and evaluate performance measured against sales quota
o Assist management in developing and reviewing sales budget and rolling sales forecast including sales to budget variance analysis
o Guide sales team in entering accurate data
o Edit all County sales declarations
o Perform sales ratio analysis.
Qualifications
o B Sc in Statistics, accounting or any other numeric course
o At least one year post qualification in similar position, such as market analysis
Skills
o The position requires a person who is analytical and detailed. The sales analyst must possess computer skills, including the ability to use sales forecasting software.
o Must think creatively
o Should have strong oral and written communication skills to deliver technical

LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and interpret documents such as abstracts, assessment etc Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively to employees and the general public.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations. Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
COMPUTER SKILLS
Very conversant with the use of the computer. Very conversant with Microsoft Excel.
