Neptune Energy Services Limited (NESL) is a start up mid-stream Oil and Gas Company with a major focus on sourcing, storage and distribution of refined petroleum products in Nigeria. The company currently seeks to recruit self-driven and motivated professionals to fill key positions in its management cadre:


1. MANAGING DIRECTOR/CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER

Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
• An MBA or equivalent postgraduate degree from a reputable institution. Possession of higher degree(s) and relevant professional qualification will be an added advantage.
• Minimum of eighteen(18) years relevant experience in a similar function of which at least five(5) must have been spent in an executive management role, preferable in the oil and gas sector.
• Good appreciation of business strategy articulation, monitoring and implementation; business planning, development, and business performance analysis.
• Good knowledge of key regulations, operations, and players in the oil and gas industry.
• Good understanding of product sourcing, storage, distribution and logistics
• Strong analytical, teaming, leadership/supervisory, interpersonal, relationship management, communication, presentation/facilitation, and organizational skills as well as appreciation and working knowledge of Microsoft office tools


2. GM, OPERATIONS

Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
• Minimum of a second class lower division or its equivalent in an Engineering or Social Science discipline from a reputable higher institution and relevant professional qualifications. An MBA or equivalent postgraduate degree will be an added advantage.
• Minimum of twelve (12) years relevant experience in a similar function in oil & gas of which at least four (4) must have been at a strategic management level.
• In-depth knowledge and understanding of core operational activities in the downstream sector with emphasis on supply chain management.
• Good knowledge of technical and regulatory guidelines for set up and operations of petroleum products storage facilities.
• Good understanding of the oil and gas industry and especially the downstream sector and relevant leading practices in engineering (design, build and operate) operations, quality assurance and HSE management.
• Good analytical, project management, problem solving, negotiation, networking, teaming, leadership, interpersonal, relationship management, communication, presentation/facilitation, and organizational skills as well as appreciation and working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools.


3. GM, SALES AND MARKETING

Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
• Minimum of a second class lower division or its equivalent in the Social Sciences from a reputable higher institution, with relevant professional qualifications. An MBA or any other relevant postgraduate degree will be an added advantage.
• Minimum of twelve(12) years relevant experience in a similar function of which at least four(4) must have been at a strategic management level.
• Good understanding of the oil and gas industry and marketing and sales function in the downstream or fast function in the downstream or fast moving consumer goods sector.
• Good appreciation of business strategy articulation, monitoring and implementation, market planning, marketing models and business performance analysis.
• Good grasp of customer relationship management concepts
• Good analytical, teaming, leadership/supervisory, interpersonal, relationship management, communication, presentation/facilitation, and organizational skills well as appreciation and working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools.


4. HEAD, SUPPLY AND DISTRIBUTION

• Minimum of a second class lower division or its equivalent in any discipline from a reputable higher institution and relevant professional qualification. An MBA or equivalent postgraduate degree will be an added advantage.
• Minimum of ten (10) years relevant experience in a similar function of which at least three (3) must have been at a supervisory/managerial level.
• Excellent knowledge and understanding of the principles of integrated supply chain management, distribution planning and fleet management with relevant experience in the oil and gas industry especially the downstream sector.
• Good analytical, problem solving, negotiation, networking, teaming, leadership management, communication, presentation/facilitation, and organizational skills as well as appreciation and working knowledge of Microsoft office tools.


5. HEAD, TECHNICAL SERVICES

Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
• Minimum of a second class lower division or its equivalent in an Engineering discipline from a reputable higher institution with relevant professional qualifications e.g. COREN, etc. An MBA or any other relevant postgraduate degree will be an added advantage.
• Minimum of ten (10) years’ relevant experience of which at least three (3) must have been at a strategic management level.
• Good knowledge of technical and regulatory guidelines for set up and operations of petroleum products storage facilities.

8. HEAD, FINANCE AND IT

Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
• Minimum of a second class lower division or its equivalent in Accounting from a reputable higher institution, with relevant professional qualifications e.g. ACCA, ACA, ACIB, CIMA, CPA, CISA, etc with proven analytical and qualitative accounting/finance competencies as well as a good understanding of IT management. An MBA or other relevant postgraduate degree will be an added advantage.
• Minimum of ten (10) years’ relevant experience in a similar function of which at least three (3) must have been at a strategic management level.
• Good appreciation of the operations in the oil and gas industry and especially the downstream sector.
• Good knowledge of advanced financial management (accounting and reporting), treasury and investment management, international accounting and financial reporting standards and tax principles, local tax regime/legislation and implications to business as well as information management.
• Good knowledge of modern financial/accounting systems/Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software. Must also be technology savvy.

9. HEAD, HUMAN RESOURCES AND ADMIN

• Minimum of a second class lower division or its equivalent in any discipline from a reputable in any discipline from a reputable higher institution, with relevant professional qualifications. A relevant postgraduate degree will be an added advantage.
• Minimum of ten(10) years’ post qualification relevant experience of which at least three(3) must have been at managerial/supervisory level.
• Good understanding of the HR issues in the downstream oil and gas sector.
• In-depth knowledge and understanding of HRM strategies, systems and leading practices in the areas of recruitment, manpower planning and development, career management and performance management; and compensation and benefit management.
• Good leadership, interpersonal relationship management, communication (written and oral), presentation/facilitation, and negotiation skills as well as appreciation and working knowledge of Microsoft office tools.
• Minimum of ten (10) years’ relevant experience in a similar function of which at least three (3) must have been at a supervisory/managerial level.
• Good analytical, problem solving, networking, interpersonal, relationship management, communication, presentation/facilitation, and organizational skills.


10. HEAD, INTERNAL AUDIT/BUSINESS RISK MANAGEMENT (BRM)

• Minimum of a second class lower division or its equivalent in a financial related discipline from a reputable higher institution and relevant professional qualifications (ACA, ACCA, CPA, CIMA, etc). An MBA or equivalent postgraduate degree will be an added advantage.
• Minimum of ten (10) years’ relevant experience in a similar function in downstream oil & gas of which at least three (3) must have been at a managerial/supervisory level, 5 years applied experience in a business risk management/internal control function and in-depth understanding of BRM strategies.
• Good analytical, problem solving, negotiation, networking, teaming, leadership, interpersonal, relationship management, communication, presentation/facilitation, and organizational skills as well as appreciation and working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools.


11. COMPANY SECRETARY/LEGAL ADVISER

• Minimum of a second class lower division or its equivalent in Law from a reputable higher institution. An MBA or any other relevant postgraduate degree will be an added advantage.
• Minimum of ten (10) years post qualification experience, with at least three (3) years in a strategic management capacity
• Relevant experience in the downstream oil and gas sector will be an added advantage.
• An appreciation of the operations and regulations in the oil and gas sector
• Good leadership, interpersonal, relationship management, communication, presentation/facilitation, coordination and negotiation skills, as well as appreciation and working knowledge of Microsoft office tools.


12. ACCOUNTANTS

• Professional qualification (e.g. ACCA, ACA) is an added advantage.

13. ENGINEERS

• A good first degree or its equivalent in an engineering discipline.
• Minimum of three (3) years’ of post-qualification engineering experience
• Practical knowledge of application of engineering science and technology. This includes applying principles, techniques, procedures, and equipment to the resolution of technical issues.
• Knowledge of safety procedures, equipment and supplies applicable to petroleum storage facilities.
• Ability to supervise and coordinate facilities and projects.


14. SALES AND MARKETING EXECUTIVES

Qualifications, Experience and Attributes:
• A good first degree or its equivalent in social sciences or a related, possession of professional sales/marketing, qualifications is an added advantage.
• Minimum of three (3) years post qualification work experience in marketing functions.
• Good understanding of the local petroleum products market and local petroleum products market and local terrain.
• Excellent communication, marketing, presentation and inter-personal skills as well as proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office tools.
